Improve your images (.com)

ImproveYourImages.com is a simple looking website that can improve your images (hence the domain name, I figure). The three examples tell us that you can

# Restore true original colors
# Correct color temperature

# Adjust poor lighting

Especially the last one looks interesting to a bad photographer like me, so let’s test our own images on this!

First we’ll try out a quite dull image of the Colosseum in Rome, Italy. First is the original, after that the improved version.

As you can see, the colors do look a little more lively. Sure, an improvement in my opinion!

The next test is questionable. The original isn’t the best image ever shot, yet the improvement looks a little over the top, in my humble opinion. Too much color.

And of course I have an image that does not improve. This image was taken in Malmo, Sweden and I shot it, because of the colors. Improveyourimages.com kindly took that out ;-)

Good find! Personally I use the “heavy stuff” like Nikon Capture for RAW-image files.
But this is good enough I guess for Joe and Jane Average. Try an indoor image, taken with flash: the results are quite good IMHO!
One minor thing: I don’t like the Exif is being ripped out.
